INTRO
Hadewig Kras is the powersinger/bassplayer of KRaS!, known for their powerful live performances. Her musical journey began in Amsterdam, where she left drama school to explore the musical vibe of Antwerp. There she met a compagnon, actor and guitarist Jan Bijvoet, which led to the formation of KRaS!
With a sound that combines energetic rock and poetic chansons, KRaS! quickly carved out a small but unique niche in the Antwerp-Amsterdam music scene.

* After an unorthodox demo that garnered a lot of attention, but left everyone without a clue except for BLIXA BARGELD (Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds), their DEBUT ALBUM, recorded in Berlin and produced by Blixa, marked a new chapter on their way. The ep BERLIN RECORDINGS won two Independent Music Awards in the US.
*When Hadewig Kras went back to Berlin record a tribute to her deceased father, Mario Goossens (TRIGGERFINGER), who had been following her quirkiness, took his drumsticks to the same Einstürzende Neubauten Studio (andereBaustelle) and with only bass, vocals, drums and engineering wizard Boris Wilsdorf (producer Neubauten) they recorded the two-man album BLOOD in one week. With this material and her uncategorizable KRaS! Power Trio she played a phenomenal concert at the prestigious Women in Paradise Festival at Paradiso in Amsterdam, where her charisma attracted considerable attention and delivered an unforgettable night.

Besides concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, in 2025 they also released the new album KRaS! @RockstarRecordings, recorded live in the studio on—yes, cassette—which was kicked off in front of an amazing audience of music lovers and exceptional artist friends at deBalie in Amsterdam.

ARTISTIC VeRSATILITY
Beyond her work with KRaS! Hadewig has forged an enriching path. She created and composed music for theater productions in Belgium, sang the unique vocal parts for the TV series ‘Terug naar Oosterdonk’ and, this time as an actress, collaborated again with Blixa Bargeld as director for the stage adaptation of J.M. Coetzee’s ‘Waiting for the Barbarians’ at the Salzburg Festival.

• Jan Bijvoet, known for films like Borgman, Into The Night and Peaky Blinders. But despite his impressive film track record of 2 Oscar nominations and a Golden Palm selection, music remains his creative go-to.
• Tom Meeuws, a politician, combines his mission to combat poverty with his love for the drums. His beats are the driving force behind KRaS!.
• Tim Pensaert, A young, enormous musical talent, achieving success with his band Meltheads, brings an unmistakable extra out-of-the-box-groove to the group.
